Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Garrett Hedlund is out while Sebastian Stan is in the running for Captain America, the hottest role in Hollywood.
Hedlund is the star of December's Tron Legacy and reportedly Marvel's first choice, but he is reportedly out of the running. He was the only actor to have not screen tested and apparently will not have that chance.
The same article also lists Sebastian Stan of Gossip Girl and Kings fame as a possible contender. Another TV series star, as Hedlund is out and Stan is in, at least for now. If I didn't know any better, I'd think that Marvel is making this movie for their female fans as much as their male counterparts.
